Yoga is a way of life. It’s a practice which cleanses our body, mind and soul. Through yoga, we can happily converse with our body, and through balancing our body with our soul and with nature, we seek the essence of beauty.

A couple of year ago, with the encouragement of a yoga book, I started my life as a yogi. I love Hatha yoga. Back bending poses strengthen the liver, kidney and spleen, Spinal twist alleviates my sciatic pain. Poses practiced with breathing is a combination of “Yin” and “Yang”. I love meditation. It relaxes me,  and helps me achieve peace of mind. It also opens the door to wisdom, taking away all my negative thoughts, worries, desires and spiritual burdens, and rejuvenates my whole self.

I feel happy and proud to have become a yoga pilgrim. These few years of practice is both painful and fun. It’s tough but what’s good is that my headache and insomnia disappeared. My sciatic problem, cured. Yoga rekindles my passion to life.

Yoga has not only improved my health, it has changed my life, strengthened my self-confidence and helped me set my life goal – to be a top notch yoga instructor. Honestly, yoga learning and yoga teaching is very different. Yoga learning is an enjoyable experience, the feel is really good. Teaching yoga? To be a good teacher, you need to hold yourself responsible to your students, you need to be patient, attentive, caring, and help your students improve and get the desired yoga effects.

Seeing my students improve makes me very happy. I will continue to work hard and will never give up. In the course of my training, I will also dedicate myself to promoting yoga, sharing it with more people so that everyone of us can, in the realm of yoga, seek positive energies, health and beauty.
