Qualified HK Yoga Association teacher, now taking the HK Yoga Associationn Intermediate Teacher Training and Certificate course.
I started yoga in 2003, with the hope of alleviating my years of back pain through yoga practice.
At the beginning, I thought yoga is just another kind of exercise for keeping fit, but after more in-depth practice, yoga makes me aware of the unfulfilled potential of my strength and flexibility, which is far beyond the realm of my imagination, and pushes me to explore the limits of my body. I also experience how effective yoga can be as a communication tool between the body, mind and spirits. It also helps me discover myself and understand the relationship between man and nature. This very much fits in my communications background in college which is always about effective communication.
To me, teaching yoga is sharing your knowledge in postures, breathing methods, concentration practice and your healthy diet tips with those you chance to encounter in class, wishing that they also benefit from it with their health improved, long suffered pains relieved, and that they, in pursuance of the body-mind-spirit harmony, may even be inspired to see life in a different light.
